We've updated the Broadjam Monthly Contests to have a new format. Now, the monthly contests will have a sponsor, new each month, allowing us to award more prizes to winners than ever before. Studio Devil has kindly sponsored the two contests for this February.

The first contest is the Studio Devil Song of the Month Contest. This is open to ANY song, regardless of genre, style or content. The second is the Studio Devil Love Song of the Month Contest. In the spirit of Valentine's Day, this contest is open to all songs that have to do with love. This month, three artists in each contest will win, so enter now.

David Scott Rockower is a young budding songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist from upstate New York. He releases his recordings under the name The Duke Western, "kind of like my own band," he says, "only it's just me so it cuts down on the arguments, but somehow still doesn't totally eliminate them."

Rockower has over twenty years of experience and is one of the "first call" musicians in his area. He adds, "I don't like to set musical limits for myself, I've always respected people who don't pigeon-hole or type-cast themselves, the chameleons of the world."
