Song: Block Anthem
Location: Tucson, Arizona, United States
Bio: B Rob's song "Block Anthem" was submitted to a Broadjam Opportunity and was recently placed in the film "Charlie Valentine" starring Michael Weatherly. The producer chose the song to be used as music in club scenes, saying that “The vibe of the song worked real well with the modern day club scene”.
Read what B Rob recently told us about his experience with Broadjam so far:
Three years ago, I would have never believed that I would have the opportunity do something that I truly enjoy (make music) and even earn some additional income and notoriety from placing my music in film and television. I can honestly say, without a shadow of a doubt, that Broadjam has been the conduit to allow me to achieve some things that I never thought possible. My music has certainly grown over the last couple of years and this is in part due to the Broadjam community and of course a little hard work on my part. Nevertheless, the friendships that I have made and opportunities to collaborate make the annual membership well worth the price for submission. I’m sure as many independent musicians can attest to, it’s difficult to balance your music endeavors with a “day job” and family obligations; however, for me, music soothes the soul and allows me to express myself in such a way that is not possible through other means. This is especially important to me as an active-duty military officer, as daily stress can present itself at any moment.
Thanks to Broadjam for the opportunity and opening the door. All I had to do was step through the doorway. The encouragement and honest feedback I’ve gotten through the Broadjam community has been instrumental in my desire to succeed and to continue moving forward to achieve my dreams as a producer and artist.
