Band? ...well, it's just me actually. My repertoire is broadly from the 20's 30's 40's and 50's. It is classed as swing, tin-pan-alley, vaudeville, dixieland, hawaiian ... basically, it's ukulele jazz. I especially like the subtly saucy songs of the era with hidden meanings and innuendo - innocent and at the same time quaint and amusing.

I draw my jazz influences from Tessie O'Shea, Billy "Uke" Scott, Frank Crumit, Cliff "Ukulele Ike" Edwards, Roy Smeck, Arthur Godfrey Johnny M arvin and Janet Klein. And from Hawaii, Johnny Ukulele, King Bennie Nawahi, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole and Herb Ohta.

This gig is all about great fun entertainment for a wide range of settings, formal and informal. I am also available for session work.
