Bio

Mislay is a five-piece (currently) rock band from the American International School of Budapest, Hungary. Fusing different genres ranging from rock 'n' roll to metal and back to blues, Mislay has been generating a new sound ever since the founding of the first line-up in China (2005). The origins, as to the name of the band and the basic concept, therefore, date quite far, distance wise, back for a high school band and quite far, time wise, as well. The current line-up at AISB was formed in January 2008, out of which James has left the band.

The sound of Mislay is also unique due to the uncommon instrument line-up; we have the capability to have two guitars, keyboard, two bass, drums and dual vocals. The greatest influences that all of the band members share are Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and a lot of other blues/rock bands/artists. The main focus, currently, is in writing songs and finding places to perform in.
