Hi Mike, Excellent news that 'Unbelievable' has hit the top 10 of Rock/Religious. As I've said before, it's a fine song. Can still imagine Cliff Richard singing it.
Regards Wayne (Groomhill)

Mike, Got a kick out of RESET, which I was on 9/11. But was even more moved by the angelic voice of April Windsor on ALL BEFORE YOU. Having just collaborated with Jim Pearson on NO MORE, I know what it is like to have someone do your own song better than you can, and I thank God for it! Since we have mutual pals and callings, I am sending you a Friend Request. I believe you are one of the few people who could understand my song ON THIS DAY, and how Hope springs eternal, like the voice of an April breeze. - Nick

Thanks Mike for your review of Who is a Scot. If you have time please explain about my pitch I have to figure out what I have done wrong so I can change things. I spent many years in a Luthern choir myself I loved it. So many great hymns I also sang liturgy for services again thanks

Hi Delta,
Again, I thought "Who Is A Scot" was beautiful and your voice is lovely on it. The few pitchy spots don't really detract from the song but since you asked, the specific instances I heard are at:
1:38 "saw & proud" are a bit flat to my ears. 2:26 "Blood & the fear" a bit flat, and at 5:17 "heavy blood ..." Are you opposed to using pitch correction? Some people are but just about every recording made these days uses it. If it's set properly none of the emotion of the vocal is sacrificed and yet the pitch is always spot on. Sorry to be so nit-picky but I'm kind of a freak about pitch! Coincidentally, I happen to be a choir director at a Lutheran church so maybe that's where it comes from ... Other than maybe pitch correcting a few lines I wouldn't change a thing about I Am A Scot. It is a wonderful piece of art , great story-telling wonderfully arranged, recorded and sung ! I look forward to hearing more great music from you. Blessings to you, Mike Renneker

Mike thank you for getting back to me and no I have not used the machine but my producer has mentioned it. I think from know on I will use it as he and you say everyone does .I am glad you like the song the first time I read the poem the hair on the back of my neck stood up. it is my heritage as I am a Scot. The gentleman who spoke the part is a friend from Edinburg and runs a Scottish shop near by. It took me close to 4 years to get the song so it had the feel I wanted my produce was very patient with me he is also my song writer, arranger back up singer and just about everything else. I must tell you when you heard the wind I made the sounds. What fun that was and I have a whole cd called Children of the Mist on cd baby you may want to take a listen. Thank you so much for your time. I remain Delta Burnett Reed Ferenbaugh
