What makes Chandler’s music unique is his solid combination of a rich and resonant baritone voice with his acoustic guitar, serving alongside a humble yet obvious talent for songwriting, all of which makes for an engaging listen. And while he’s equally comfortable with a Marshall and a band or a Martin and a van, Michael takes mostly to performing as a solo artist, working club dates, colleges, and music festivals outside his hometown of Los Angeles, where he’s sold a few thousand CD’s on his own.

Chandler embraces modern artistic confusion with edgy and heavy acoustic guitar sounds that make the listener long for the thrust of a seemingly wounded rock revolution. Originally from the eastern U.S., Chandler moved to Los Angeles to continue his craft of writing and performing songs for reasons he states may not have been obvious at first. "Although most people know L.A. for the glitzy and what can sometimes be an empty side of the Hollywood film and music scene, I found L.A. a place where there's a thriving pulse of artists that come from all around the globe for what often becomes their greatest opportunity to connect with others who share the same dreams of making art and experimenting." Among his recent touring across the U.S., Michael has performed several music festivals and conferences as a showcasing artist including the 8th annual Millennium Music Conference in Pennsylvania, the Midwest Music Summit in Indianapolis, and at both the Dewey Beach Music Festival in Deleware and MidPoint Music Conference in Ohio.
