MD Records LLC. is owned and founded by Michael Davis. Being a business owner, singer, and songwriter, he has a keen sense of what it takes to provide good music and good entertainment. MD Records' motto is to "make music with families in mind!" Currently, MD Records & Productions produces concerts and dinner shows that ALL can enjoy. MD Records is working on two main projects: Michael Davis & Friends and Dayna Davis. Michael Davis & Friends is a collective body comprised of Michael Davis, Dayna Davis and Gary Pace. Music for the Ages is a showcase that presents popular songs that spans from the 30s thru 90s. The vision and dream originated with Michael Davis. The goal of Music for the Ages is to provide wholesome and quality entertainment that EVERYONE can enjoy. The showcase comes in many forms, from a variety show to doing tributes to Nat Cole, Lionel Richie, Ray Charles, Etta James, and Natalie Cole.
Michael Davis is a Detroit native, visionary, and entrepreneur. He has been heavily involved in music for over 30 years. As a University of Michigan graduate, he has been featured in a few of UM musicals, such as Pearlie and The Devil & Otis Redding. Soon after, he was recruited to sing with the Detroit Emeralds. Also as a former choir director of a church, his Christian values is what inspires him to provide clean, fun entertainment for the masses. Michael is no stranger to the stage or the mic. His voice is smooth as velvet. The soul behind his voice is sure to capture your heart! Some of Michael's musical influences are: Nat Cole, Lionel Richie, Kenny Rogers, The Temptation, and Frank Sinatra. Dayna Davis, daughter of Michael Davis, is also a Detroit native, visionary, and entrepreneur. Dayna is classically trained in piano and the alto saxophone. She has also been involved in school and community chorales, band camps such as Interlochen Center for the Arts, a gospel recording group, and a songwriting workshop at Berklee College of Music-Boston. Currently, she is owner of D.D.Directives, D.R.D. International Publishing, and helps run M.D. Records LLC. Dayna Davis strives to provide classic sounds and entertainment in a first-class, family-oriented performance. She will draw you in with her earthy sophistication and engage you with her fun, warm, and genuine spirit. All ages will enjoy Dayna's eclectic performance! Because of her diverse taste in music and cultured lifestyle, you will experience a sound that ranges from jazz to gospel, from neo-soul to folk and pop to country. Gary A. Pace has been a Detroit area musician since the 1970s as a performer, accompanist, organist, pianist, singer, and accordionist. He has a Bachelor's of Music in Organ Performance from Oberlin College. He also has a Master's of Music in Sacred Music and Organ from Oakland University. Gary has been a choral director, teacher of organ, piano, voice, and composer of several sacred psalms, songs and keyboard compositions since 1990. Gary is primarily an arranger for voice, choral ensembles, orchestral/band instruments in the classical, pop, jazz and gospel genres. In 2005, Gary composed and arranged music for a local musical entitled "Women's Stories, Women's Glories" by composer Marilyn Mitchell. He is also owner of Paceman Music. Presently, Gary Pace is a full-time minister of music at St. Sylvester Church in Warren, Michigan.
Collectively, Michael, Dayna and Gary put on an inspirational show! The three really do perform music that all ages are sure to enjoy and appreciate.
