I started singing, songwriting and developing as a solo artist in 2006. Although a newcomer to this mad world of music, my background experience in performing began a few years back. I danced and acted at a young age and then took my love for acting to New York where I graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. On my return to UK, I continued performing by taking parts, large and small (some so small I couldn’t be seen) in TV, Film, and Theatre. Although acting is still a part of my life, events during this time caused me a lot of heartbreak and sorrow. It was through writing and singing that I unloaded these emotions and most of my early songs reflect this. The Carpenters, Eva Cassidy and Delta Goodrem, among others, have all touched my life and been very influential in my development.
