9 Ghosts is the Singer-Songwriter moniker for the Pianist, and Composer: Mark Darnell. He also incorporates Acoustic Guitar, and various textures, including Electronics, Tuned Percussion (vibes & Glockenspiel), Accordion, Strings, Rhythmic Loops, Percussion, and even some Pedal-Steel! Listeners with an ear towards the Unique, and challenging: Robert Wyatt, Thom Yorke, and David Sylvian, come to mind- will find themselves immersed, and engaged in a Haunting, Nocturnal world of sound.
