Marc Carlton is a UK-based musician/composer, focusing on a unique brand of experimental instrumental music, mixing rock, electronic and new age sounds to create highly involving and emotional soundscapes. Having a truly unmistakable guitar sound, accomplished keyboard skills, and also being a fully qualified sound engineer, he mixes the best of live audio and computer–based technology to achieve master-quality recordings in a home recording environment.

Heavily influenced by the 70's progressive era, mainly the work of King Crimson, Genesis, Mike Oldfield and Yes, and tempered by a love of ambient music by the likes of Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre, Marc's work naturally lends itself well to soundtracks that require a strong cinematic and atmospheric edge. The potential for such collaborative media is something he finds extremely inspiring, and it is this avenue he currently pursues at a professional level.
