Bio

Lostiguana is a rock power trio formed by Marco Michieletto (drums, lead vocals) Massimo Michieletto (guitar) and Maurizio Feraco (bass). Marco's career has a very early start: in 1984, when he is just twelve years old, debuts with his first group. With this band he will sign for a German label, recording two albums which will be released all over the world. In 1995 he moves to Los Angeles, where he has the opportunity to study with great drummers such as Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey (Frank Zappa), Chuck Flores (Woody Herman), Fred Dinkins (The Emotions), and in 1996 he graduates with Honors from the Percussion Institute of Technology (P.I.T) in Hollywood, California, where he's voted by the teachers as "best funk drummer", and he's awarded from Sabian cymbals. In the following years he'll record two albums for the German artist Ines ("The Flow" and "Slipping into the unknown")
and he will be on the road with El Houssaine Kili (former singer of the groups "Dissidenten" and "Embryo"). The European tour has a beautiful conclusion with a fantastic performance at WOMEX '99 of Berlin, Germany.
Guitarist Massimo is recording and playing since 1986 with Italian and German bands, recording several albums for a German label. During this period he tours Europe and collaborates with Nick Griffiths, sound engineer for the Pink Floyd album "The Wall". In 1994, with a fiery arrangement of "Little Wing", he wins the Jimi Hendrix Contest promoted by the Italian Music Television. While the
