Larissa Lam's powerful vocals and original music artfully combines pop, dance and soul infused with themes of empowerment. She is an award-winning and highly acclaimed singer and songwriter. Her current single "I Feel Alive" won the 2015 Hollywood Music in Media Award and Akademia Music Award for Best Dance Song. She was named November 2015 Best Vocalist of the Month by SingerUniverse Magazine.

A prolific writer, Lam has composed original music that has been heard across the TV landscape including on Days of Our Lives, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Dr. Oz, E!, TLC and more. She has also produced and written music that has appeared in feature films (Dead Man Down, Gone) and video games (Sleeping Dogs). Her song, "Breathing More" appears in the video game, Dance Dance Revolution: Universe 2.

Larissa Lam's soulful voice and well crafted lyrics and melodies have captivated audiences around the world. Her most recent album, "Revolutionary" was released in the U.S., Canada, Australia and Singapore. She has performed at renowned venues from The Knitting Factory to the Kodak Theater.

As a songwriter, Larissa has garnered recognition as a finalist from the Billboard World Songwriting Contest and Vh1?s Save the Music Songwriting Contest. She has co-written and collaborated on music with the likes of Toto keyboardist, Steve Porcaro and Derek Nakamoto (Hiroshima, Keiko Matsui). She is also currently composing music for a brand new play by author CY Lee, whose most famous work, Flower Drum Song, was adapted by Rogers and Hammerstein.

Larissa has placed her original music in numerous music libraries. Her various TV, Film and Commercial music credits include writing instrumental underscores for Harpo Productions, which produces The Oprah Winfrey Show, Dr. Phil and The Rachel Ray show. Larissa scored the independent film, ?Do I,? showcased at film festivals across the country as well as numerous commercials.

Larissa began classical piano and music theory training at age five and by the time she was 13, Larissa had written her first song. After graduating from UCLA, Larissa went on to become a record executive before settling into music composition and performance full-time. Larissa is a voting member of NARAS and continues to promote diversity in media.
