Krisanthi Pappas has the vocal gentleness of Norah Jones and the husky-voiced passion of Bonnie Raitt. Her theatrical-pop songwriting style has been compared to Randy Newman, described as a country-flavored blend of jazz, cabaret and pop.

Currently playing in Boston and New York City with a fan base of about 2,000, she has performed throughout the U.S. and Caribbean and has shared the stage with Branford Marsalis, Chuck Mangione, The B-52s, The Yellowjackets and many others. Krisanthi also plays piano and drums on some of her songs as well as writing her band’s musical arrangements.

Krisanthi is the third place winner in the jazz category of the 2006 Billboard World Song Contest. Her original music, lyrics and vocals receive airplay on ABC's "One Life To Live" and NBC's “Passions”. Her CDs “My Back Yard”, “Celebratin’ Swing” and “A Centennial Tribute To George and Ira Gershwin” receive airplay on radio stations nationwide.
