Kendra Rene Rogers, born on January 20th 1986 of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Kendra is the daughter of Sharon and Ronald Rogers. She has two brothers Jamar and Lynn Rogers.
At the age of five, Kendra Rene dreamed of becoming a professional singer. She was inspired by her mother Sharon Rogers and recording artist Whitney Houston.
As a teen jump starting her career she joined a local entertainment company “Yard Style Entertainment” owned and operated by John “Jon Won” Alford. Her experience with Yard Style Entertainment consisted of recording and performing in local talent shows.
December of 2005, Kendra Rene Rogers dream came true, she was introduced to Waymon Flemings (President) and Leo McIntyre Jr. (Vice President) of GM Records Inc. by CEO of Yard Style Entertainment John Alford, after weeks of negotiation between Kendra Rene Rogers and GM Records, January 2006 she was offered a deal and later signed as the first female R & B recording artist of GM Records Inc.
