Music has been a part of Kreg's life since before he was born. He started playing the guitar when he was only ten years old, but he had watched his father, sister and grandfather make music all his life. He took advantage of all of the usual music and acting opportunities at junior high and high school and at sixteen, Kreg started playing in local clubs and for weddings, sometimes with his sister and sometimes on his own. From that point on Kreg was often asked to join bands to play bass or guitar and always to sing. He played in rock bands, country bands, and Christian bands. He also kept busy acting, raising a family and singing on many, many jingles in the Topeka and Kansas City area. He was worship leader for Grace Fellowship church for nearly ten years and during that time attended several local worship leader conferences and also a songwriting conference in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
