Kinky Durakee.......a band born in Kazakhstan, currently growing up in Scotland.

She's Kazakh and the guys are Scottish. They write sincere songs, with real meaning that can be understood. Their influences have been very wide from guitar driven rock to piano led singer songwriters and their resulting sound is something in the melodic rock vibe.

First gigs way back in 2001 in Aksai, Kazakhstan. Experience of playing in front of 15,000 people.

The debut 3 song EP/single with the lead track "Iskala" was released in late 2004 through their own label Joesoap Records.

Paul, Gareth and gi have been writing a bunch of new songs over the last year and have now started to perform these live. Last gig in July in Edinburgh. Further studio recording sessions in the coming months are planned to lay down these new tracks.
