Kelvin started composing songs on piano aged 11 and became main songwriter and lead vocalist with Four Miles Out.

Four Miles Out achieved national radioplay and performed at many renowned venues across the UK including some prestigious support slots (Elbow, The Beautiful South, Weezer). After signing to an independent label Four Miles Out recorded an EP with 'Strawberry Studios' producer Chris Nagle (Joy Division, Stone Roses, The Charlatans, The Ramones).

One of Kelvin's songs was featured in a British Film 'The Van Boys'.

Kelvin has been a professional function musician for the past 11 years (supports include The Sugababes, Girls Aloud, Jools Holland, Bananarama).

Kelvin is a member of BASCA, the PRS and GISC. Through these networks he has successfully collaborated with a number of other writers and is now aiming to have some of his own songs published, synced and placed with other artists.
