Littlefield was the singer/guitarist for the 90's Dallas-based band Dig. Beginning January, 2008, he has collaborated with James Arriaga, owner of Neosound Resources Studio, on this solo project.

Ocean Goat Bio

Ocean Goat was formed in the fall of 2004 by Cliff Littlefield, singer/guitarist for the 90's Dallas-based band Dig, together with former Letters to Cleo drummer, Adam Rios. The band was immediately offered a recording opportunity with Neosound Resources Recording Studio which resulted in the 5-song EP Symptoms.

Symptoms has drawn favorable comparisons with bands such as Jane's Addiction and Smashing Pumpkins. Producer/Engineer James Arriaga has also been quoted as saying Ocean Goat sounds like a Nirvana that grew up listening to old Aerosmith instead of punk.

Producer Bob Rock has shown an interest in working with Ocean Goat (Rios formerly worked with Rock at his Plantation Studios in Maui). However, the band is open to all opportunities which would allow their music to be heard.

The Symptoms EP is just that, a hint of the spreading infection. Ocean Goat is the new disease.
