Music has been a part of my life since I was born. My mother sang all of her life and taught me to hear and sing harmony parts by age four. One Christmas, I was given my first guitar. I still did not start playing seriously until I was fourteen. I learned to play by ear and wrote my first song when I was around fourteen. Growing up in such a music saturated town (Athens, GA) I knew that I had to have talent and originality to be heard. So, at sixteen, I started trying to bring all of my influences together to create a whole new sound. I don't try to write over my head, I just write what I have experienced and to be honest I have not experienced much. Now I am in the midst of trying to find myself and find my place in the music world. Even though my passion lies with R&B/Soul. I am drawn and inspired by all types of music.
