Touring musician/songwriter now dedicated to writing and playing local venues for smaller audiences. Songwriting skills include melodies, unique chord structures, and lyrical ideas. I'm not a poet, but I can get good ideas started. I enjoy working with good lyricists, poets, and higher educated musicians.

Genre's I write in are: pop, rock, country, blues, and anything else that trips my trigger. :)

My solo live shows include basic rhythm acoustic guitar w/ vocals. If a band is needed, I have that too. This world needs good live music that doesn't cost $500/ticket. Musicians are servants to the world, even if that is giving your live music to 900 people in a club or 9 people in a coffee shop - just to make their day better.

Having grown up in a music filled home, Cheryl always had a healthy diet of many musical styles. From her Father and Mother's love of Elvis, classic 50's/60's rock and roll and traditional country music, to her siblings preferences of bands from Journey to AC/DC, she has been shaped by all the greats. This is where her songwriting foundation comes from.

Since high school years, Cheryl has been delving into and learning more about the craft of songwriting. She broke in her performance skills early on in churches throughout the Midwest in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee, learning just what audiences of all ages like and respond well to. This shaped her songwriting as she penned several tunes for the group she was traveling with recorded and performed.

After touring for 7 years, Cheryl left the group she pioneered in early 2001 and began developing even more as a songwriter without the boundaries of style or message. Focusing on melody, lyric, instrumentation and production, her art continues to morph into a more cohesive sound that drives the popularity of her songs.

"Creating music that recalls a memory that brings a tear to the eye or a smile to the face; that is the greatest honor of a songwriter."
