He still remembers his first two jazz songs he ever heard - "Rainforest" and "19" by Paul Hardcastle. Even as a young teen his wide range of musical interests began forming his unconventional style.

When he was 11 he thought he'd be a drummer but a kind donation from a stranger to his father's church of a Technics 1000 keyboard changed that thought. Over 20 years later his passion for the piano and all things music has grown.
