Jon Lee is a film and TV composer/Hip-hop producer based in Santa Monica, California. Jon is a graduate of the Thornton School of Music at USC, Scoring for Motion Picture and Television Program.

Jon currently writes the music for the TV show, Jail: Las Vegas, which will air beginning January 10, 2015 on Spike TV. Jon recently completed the score for an ESPN 30 for 30 film called "Air Congo: The Return of Serge Ibaka," which will premier in March at the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX.

Jon has written the score for 10 feature films and also works with Hip Hop artists in Los Angeles, Florida and NY creating songs for film and television.

Background

Jon currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Jon graduated from the Scoring Program at USC, where he studied with noted composers David Raksin, Jack Smalley and Christopher Young.

In 2005, Jon wrote the score for three feature films from Steven J. Cannell Productions: "Demon Hunter," "The Garden," and "Tooth Fairy." In 2006, he wrote the score to the films, "Devil's Den" and "Afghan Knights." He has worked with directors Don Michael Paul (Half-Past Dead), and Scott Ziehl (Cruel Intentions 3).

In 2007, Jon wrote the music for the urban comedy, "Who's Your Caddy." During the same year, Jon wrote the score for the film "Unsettled," which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Slamdance Film Festival.

From 2007-2016, Jon wrote the music for Jail, Jail: Las Vegas, and Jail:Texas for Langley Productions. Jon has also written music for ESPN, Facebook and Netflix Films.
