Hello, My name is Jimi 7 Songs... cuz I get at least 7 ideas a night. My career spans 40 years of work.
Now days, I enjoy comforting the animals at the Animal Shelter in Castaic, CA on my free days, love handing out jackets and giving clothing to the homeless, hanging out with my good buddy Hollywood Joe who sings for the Elderly in the Santa Clarita area, plus my wife Silver Streak Lady and I are putting together a Music Creation Team, and I am Writing new Song Ideas to pass on to a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, my buddy from the Original Super R & B Group, Earth Wind & Fire. He is Mr. Larry Dunn. Also I created with Grammy Award Winner, Alan O'Day. Alan wrote and sang the number one hit record, Undercover Angel and wrote Angie Baby for Helen Reddy. I am adding new talented writers, musicians and singers to my Creation Team, plus I'm looking for fresh Younger Bands to help them write their own songs, which I can help arrange and produce them.
I worked for years as a Studio Musician, Producer & Studio Singer, for MGM Records & Mike Curb.
I also work with my new writing partner and wife: Silver Streak Lady aka Evelyn N Kelley. Our Creation Team is targeting Positive Lyrical Themes consisting of Pop, Rock, Country and R&B. Also touching on great Love songs and moving Spiritual message songs. We are empowering people through our songs with messages of Ask, Believe and Receive. We have great Melodies & strong Lyrical content. And with the help of our Creation Team, many wonderful songs will be born.
I was the Lead Singer & Vocal Arranger & Guitarist for some famous groups like:
The Andy Williams Goodtime Singers & The Mike Curb Congregation, where we Traveled the world as a hit group, & had big time Hits on the Radio such as recording the #1 hit in the USA , with Sammy Davis Jr. called "The Candy Man". Also did the vocals for our big hit song; Burning Bridges from the Movie, Kelly's Heroes.
We played at the Whitehouse twice, performing 2 Command Performances for the President. I was a 16 week Regular on the TV Show, The Glen Campbell Hour, in 1972. Played the Academy Awards & the Grammy Awards & did many other TV Specials with the likes of Jose Feliciano, Tony Bennett, Cher , Little Richard, Sinatra & Lucille Ball. My Bands played Las Vegas a lot, working with the Sammy Davis Jr. Orchestra, Liberace & The Hank Williams Jr. Show.
Let's get busy hopefully supporting Silver Streak Lady who pushes me to use my musical talents even when I'm in pain with my incurable disease. She's my inspiration to keep on as I see her use her talents even though her education was put on hold for the lack of funds. If it wasn't for her I would of never gotten my 150 songs copyright or finished these 10 recent songs in 5 days.
