Jim Aycock has been a performing songwriter for twenty years. He got his first guitar at age 7 and wrote his first song at age 14. Jim trained as an actor at the University of Alabama. He has worked professionally in L.A. as an actor and singer and currently performs his original music at venues throughout the Southeastern U.S.. In addition to his music, Jim can also be heard as voice talent on national TV/radio commercials. He is an announcer for Subway and many others. He has had speaking parts in several motion pictures, including a featured role in Walt Disney's "Tom and Huck", as the defense lawyer.
Jim has several albums released in CD format. His children's CD, MIXED UP!, has been hugely successful and the work he does writing for and performing with his group, ONE OF US, is immensely satisfying and has resulted in much acclaim from nationally published authors and speakers that he has worked with.
