I am 38 and currently serving in the US Air Force. I absolutely love serving....and also writing/playing music. I started a band called "Missing Stateside" 6 years ago in Iceland and now have the same band (with a few minor changes in drummers and singers), in New Mexico. We play all over the state and play about 60-65 shows a year. We have gathered a pretty large following and have troops and others all over the world who love to listen to our modern/classic rock sound. We have played with John Popper & the Blues Travelers when they were on a USO tour in Europe (they rock). We have played overflow at Route 66 for Ted Nugent. We opened for Bang Tango & LA Guns, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Gilby Clark from Guns & Roses. We also opened for Foghat in July 08 at the Fire & Ice Bike Rally in Grants, NM. So...in short...I'm a military rocker.

Writing and playing music has been a huge "time" crunch game...but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...or is that just lack of sleep?
