Janeece has been doin her thing since she was a young girl growing up in Cleveland and Michigan. Singing in churches, festivals, competitions, and beauty pageants (she was 1st-runner up to Miss Michigan), she was always eager to showcase her skills. When she came of age, Janeece moved straight to NYC to embark upon a career as an artist. While lining up her team of key players-she used her talents to entertain Broadway audiences. Most recently playing the title role of Africa in Africa--a new urban musical about a 16 year old foster child with dreams of becoming a singer. Janeece has also been featured on TV as the host of a show for young people. In her short time in NYC, she has developed quite a following, and now her fans are ready for even more of her. Janeece and Xavier Davis (her writing partner) have spent the last 2 years developing their signature sound.
