Ivan's Bio

Ivan considers himself a singer of inspirational music and love songs. The evidence of his success in this area is shown in his the love songs in his most recent project "Let's Talk About Love". These songs show off his lyrical and vocal expertise and reflect some of his musical influences. Ivan always considered himself a solo artist and his greatest musical influences were the great soloists from the early eighties: Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Peabo Bryson, Jeffrey Osborne, James Ingram and Al Jarreau. Gospel influences include Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin, Smokey Norful, and former Pastor Raphael Green. Ivan loves the great divas such as Whitney Houston, Maria Carey and Yolanda Adams. Ivan's most recent favorites are Neyo, Riyanna, John Legend, Elliot Yamin, Chris Brown, Maxwell and ALL of the Dream Girls songs! In this most recent project "Let's Talk About Love" he inspires with a unique blend of songs that cross R&B and pop lines, old-school and current styles.
