Short description?

Although I am ever so slightly less than average height I would not say that I am short. So I’m not sure that a short description will make a good start.
Nonetheless, thanks for finding me here and I will give you instead an average description.

Average description:

My life started up one hot summer morning at a turn of the century lying-in maternity hospital on the banks of the muddy river. No one was ever heard to use words like “precocious” or “special” about me - so from very early on I was pretty much left alone to kick around and sort things out by myself.

That was ok with me. And I would have put off growing up entirely were it not for the simple fact that it happened anyway.

All through this time, though, and to the present day I have been a guitar playing person trying to write songs and lead a quiet life of understated elegance and simplicity.
