Hardly Portland is an acoustic driven 3-piece rock band from the campus of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. Joe Black sings and plays rhythm guitar, Myles Womack plays lead guitar, and Brian Churchill handles the drums. The band splits its time evenly between covering modern rock songs at local bars and fraternity parties, playing original material at local and regional venues, and attending one last year of class. Their debut CD, The Open Window, was released in June 2004 and has sold very well this summer across the Midwest.
