The multi talented singer/songwriter/producer and instrumentalist Guy Barnes has always been somewhat of a hermit in music.
Starting out cutting his teeth the normal way by playing in his local pubs and clubs, Guy slowly found his feet more in the studio, enjoying the freedom to experiment with the doors shut and the lights off.
Legendary pro-audio designer and engineer John Oram finally discovered Guy in 1996 and set him up with his own recording studio, giving Guy the ability to hone his skills as a songwriter and producer without timelimits or budget.
Guy has opened his studio to artists since 1998, turning GnT productions into not only a recording studio but also a video and Photographic studio, there he develops and produces acts, and GnT probably boasts the only independent Studio where an artist can walk in with nothing and walk out with a full promotional package, E.P or album music videos,brochures and Photos.
A very private man by nature Guy has a set of very close friends who he relys on to help him out with his studio projects, keeping everything very much in house and as family oreantated as possible.
His partner and the love of his life Tara Lea, a brilliant vocalist amd professional dancer, Simon Godfrey has played drums on nearly all his solo works, Jonny T is his main songwriting partner, and a few other select musicians Guy calls on from time to time, all help out and advise Guy on his projects.
