Manny Yanes, Grupo Yaya's founder, bassist, & producer was born in Habana, Cuba, but raised in Miami,where he steeped in all the musical styles sorrunding him. He has performed or recorded with the likes of Patti LaBelle, Robert Palmer, Bonnie Riatt, The Neville Bros. Edwin McCain, Armando Peraza, & Arturo Sandoval to name a few. Manny is committed to pushing the outer edges of the envelope, yet remaining true to his heritage & culture.
