Gina began studying piano at the age of eight. She studied theory and composition at the Shoreline School of Music and the Neighborhood Music School. She accompanied and acted with a youth theatre troupe, had a two-year gig as organist for a Methodist church, and four years ago began teaching beginner piano to children and adults.
She began composing at 16. In 1998, she had six original songs recorded on her piano at home by Sonic Arts Studio. In 2002, she began a producer/arranger collaboration with Roland Pepin of Aria 51 Studios in East Haven, Connecticut. While producing “Free Spirit”, they discovered a rare and wonderful relationship where one artist can seemingly read the other’s mind. They cultivated this relationship while creating “Awakening” and “Remembrance” - music that has sincerity, substance and raw emotion.
