For The Record

For The Record was formed right in Miami, Fl out of the Kendall Conservatory of Music. While working as a guitar teacher Margaux Penichet (vocals) met and offered Adrian Neal (Trumpet/Bass), Brian Del Torro (Lead Guitar), Daniel Alonso (Rhythm Guitar) & Chauncey Riley (Percussion) a chance to gig at what was supposed to be a one night only event in a Coffee Shop in Las Olas Blvd. The time spent creating and developing the original music and the success of the show kept them eager to continue working together. "All of us come from different schools of music. I'm from the school of classic rock, Adrian is from the school of Jazz, Brian is from the school of the Avant-Gardes, Danny comes from the school of Blues, and Chauncy is from the school of Soul."- M. Together they create a unique blend of genera crossing songs that are blended in a musical layers that spotlight each one of the players. Jazzy, yet Funky, & Soulful with a Rock attitude. For The Record is known for upbeat & lively performances, they gig the local circuit to their supporting fans. Nov.6 they will be performing for the second year in a row at Tobacco Road's Femme Festival. Currently,For The Record is working on their first studio album, Formula to Sanity.
