"A quality meat-and-potatoes rock outfit..." - The Boston Herald, August, 2003

The Herald may have hit the nail on the head when attempting to categorize Focusin, a rock band from Boston with roots ranging from classic rock to the blues, punk to grunge, and the arena to the garage.

Focusin emerged from the Boston music scene in late 2002 and won the Hard Rock Café's Boston Battle of the Bands in June of 2003. After winning the title of Boston's Best Band, Focusin won the Hard Rock Café/Rolling Rock Road to the Town Fair IV national competition. The band opened the 2003 Town Fair IV at 54,000-seat Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, sharing the line-up with national acts Sum 41, 311, Def Leppard, and Blink 182.

Focusin has been packing crowds into New England's legendary venues - from Cambridge's Middle East to the Luna Lounge in New York City - as they've set up regular shows in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Rhode Island.
