1. How do I find music that is for sale on the Broadjam website? ^

In the Music section click on the “Songs For Sale” link. Select a genre on the left hand side and start browsing. Or you can use the search box in the upper right hand corner to search by artist name or song name.




2. What file format are the song downloads available in? ^

Song downloads are available in mp3 format, 192 kbps, 44.1 kHz quality, and will play on both Windows and Mac compatible computers using the media player of your choice.




3. Do I need a credit card to buy music from the Broadjam Download Store? ^

Yes, you need a credit card to buy downloads, or to buy Purchase Credits from the Broadjam Download Store.




4. What credit cards does the Broadjam Download Store accept? ^

Broadjam accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. And we also accept PayPal.




5. How do I download the song(s) I purchased? ^

Once the song or songs have been purchased, go to your profile page and click on the “Purchases” link. Click “Download” next to the song title you wish to download to your computer. You have 14 days to download your purchased music. If you experience difficulties please contact Broadjam Customer Service.




6. How are the Top Rated Broadjam Downloads list compiled? ^

The Top Rated Broadjam Downloads list is compiled by the average peer review rating a song has received. If you want the chance for your song to appear in this list please turn your song on for review. Check the “Review” FAQ for more information about song reviews.




7. What are Broadjam’s Download Purchase Credits? ^

Download Purchase Credits are a way for you to save money when shopping for music on
Broadjam. They work like money when you are purchasing, except you can buy them in
$5.00 increments and store them in your Broadjam account until they’re spent. They are
non-refundable and are designed for convenient shopping for songs on Broadjam.

You pay no transaction fees!




8. How do Broadjam’s Download Purchase Credits save me money? ^

When you buy music with Download Purchase Credits, Broadjam covers the transaction fee for you! Just buy a block of Download Purchase Credits, $5.00 for example, spend them on music downloads, and all of your money will go to buying music. Any Download Purchase Credits you don’t spend will stay in your account to spend later.




9. What is the transaction fee? ^

When paying for downloads with a credit card, you will pay a $.50 fee any time your payment is less than $4.95, the cost of 5 songs. This payment goes toward covering the charges imposed by credit card and the credit card processing companies, which is approximately $.50 in fees every time a credit card transaction is made. If the independent artist covered this fee, they would only get a few cents every time they sold a song. You help pay the independent artist fairly for their music by covering this expense for them. If you choose to use Download Purchase Credits, we will cover the transaction expense for both of you, so neither you nor the artist have to pay. This is just one of the benefits of paying with Purchase Credits.




10. What are Broadjam free songs? ^

We allow our members to make one song available for free download. It’s a great way for artists to attract new fans.
