Fallen Kings from Columbia, SC

Fallen Kings is a carefully calculated rock band from Columbia, South Carolina. Formed in early 2007, the band has never been quick to rush to play a live show and has always took an "original first" look to their music. The band was together for a full year and had released its first album before their first show, a Rock 93.5 "Locals Live" show in late 2007. The 2007 album, "Hide Me In This World", saw the song "Car Crash", receive local play in the regular rotation on Columbia's Rock 93.5 and was honored at the end of 2009 as a local top ten song by the "Eleven O'Clock News", a Rock 93.5 local music show. 2010's Full length debut looks to be the next step for the foursome, who have found there way into the Georgia and Florida markets in 2010 and also hit almost every major city in South Carolina in 2010: Charleston, Greenville, Spartanburg, Myrtle Beach, and their Hometown, Columbia. Fallen Kings was also featured on CBS Greenville's "Your Carolina" show and Fox Greenville's "Fox Rocks" series, where the band recorded a six track demo at Edwin McCain's Whitestone Studios with famed producer, Marcus Suarez. The band is hoping to continue to build and become a mainstay of the southeastern music scene. " Comparing anything to a car accident is cliche, but "Car Crash, " a break-up song about "you," exemplifies why there is still hope for modern-rock. More like this, please." -- Otis Taylor of The State Paper
