Failure Fanatic is Francisco "Frankie" Feliciano, a dark and edgy singer-songwriter from Detroit, Michigan. He is of Puerto Rican heritage and he speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. He has been producing his own loop-based songs since January 2001. In 2005, he separated his darker material from his dance and pop material by adopting the name Failure Fanatic, wanting to still keep the "FF" as his initials but with the first "F" written backwards to symbolize wings of freedom. The new name reflected his destructive past and present and his dark lifestyle. By 2006, he ended up with over 150 songs in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, including remixes of existing songs. On April 18, 2007, he met Peter Tanico, owner of Exit 39 Productions, who became his manager and they immediately began working together.
