Bio

Hailing from Long Island, New York with a wide balanced array of personality’s, influences, and emotions, EyeColorOrange brings out the very essence of it’s comprising members sole beings, producing a brutal yet replenishing and infecting experience.

Coming together in 1999 by nothing short of fate, from day one childhood friends John Hickson (drums), and Adam Drew (guitar) were on this road paved orange. Shortly after it’s initial conception the bands current singer, Luis Rodriguez, was recruited as a second guitarist, pouring a strong but incomplete foundation. In April of 2000, following a year of writing and development by the three, Rodriguez’s increasingly versatile and powerful vocal abilities emerged as the brightest light the group could find in a tainted pool of Long Island talent. Seeing in Luis a singer destined to be, John & Adam encouraged him to rise up to the call and take the microphone as his weapon. Joining shortly after this evolution was another friend Steve Marotti with his bass, bringing an uncompromisingly powerful and destructive presence to the tightly woven, groove-injected flavor of modern metal music the three were constructing.

By November of 2000 EyeColorOrange had burst out onto the local Long Island, NY bar and club scene as a new and powerful force to bear, seamlessly blending a constant flow of energy, melody, and grooves rooted deeply in a broad metal genre. ECO quickly began capturing open-minded audiences with they’re raw intensity
