EVANGELES is Tony Angeles (Boston) and Gideon Evans (Brooklyn), former college roommates and current musical collaborators. Tony is a songwriter/graphic designer and a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts Musical Theatre Writing MFA Program. His musical theatre pieces have been performed in Boston, Minneapolis, London, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and New York. Gideon is a writer/producer/actor who has produced for the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Michael Moore's TV Nation and The Awful Truth, and PRI's Fair Game with Faith Salie. Tony and Gideon collaborated on the recent one-act “Put It In You” at the UCB Theatre (starring Gideon Evans and Julie Brister) and are currently writing a full-length musical.
