Bio

Elke was born to be a singer. Her astonishing vocal talent was apparent to her family from the start. Her German-born mother, from whom she inherited her striking Euro-esque appearence, and her Cherokee-blood father, from whom she drew her gregarious personality, encouraged her to perform at every opportunity. From school talent shows to runway and print modeling, she has commanded the attention of those around her since before she learned to walk.
Early-on, her unique heritage and appearence drew bigotry and negativity from jealous schoolmates. "Nazi", "Cat-eyes", and "Injun" were often-heard epithets, but they only served to intesify her relentless drive to defy her naysayers and achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a famous singer/songwriter.
Following college and eight years of reserve duty in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman, she put her dream on hold for several years, marrying a military man. Her priorities shifted to supporting her husband in his service to the US AirForce- which meant moving every two years- and caring for their two beautiful children. This didn't stop her from performing, however.
Elke was the lead female vocalist in her husband's all-military cover band. Her dynamic performances quickly became the center of attention, and put the band in high demand. Performing at military and community functions. Her astonishing talent has convinced her husband to end his military career to support her as she supported him.
