Just love Je Coule. The improvement in production is very clear in comparison to the tracks preceding it, great arrangement too. Lots of luck with your music.

Hi, Not sure if you were referring to Out Of The Equation or a track by Eastern Lights?

Thank you for letting me know your set up, I am always interested in the equipment my fellow composers are using. I am using Cakewalk Sonar software, with Windows.

I was referring to Eastern Lights, I have just heard Out Of The Equation though, great track.

Sorry, I couldn't be sure. Thanks, glad you like Equation. By coincidence I use Sonar and Windows 10 with Scarlett interface Yamaha Tyros keyboard (inc mic input/preamp) and Fender Strat with Behringer amp.

Aah, it's nice to come across another Sonar user, I use a Roland Duo Captur interface and Yamaha and Korg keyboards, plus my trusty Taylor 812ce guitar. My apologies to Eastern Lights, I didn't mean to hijack your comments board.

No worries at all. Love engaging with other artists. Personally, I have never used Sonar, but now I want to check it out. As mentioned earlier, I use Logic mostly because of it's easy to use layout, but for anything analog I actually prefer Presonus Studio One.

I may be wrong but my guess is most writers/producers learn early on not to chop and change software otherwise they end up with tracks all over the place that are not necessarily compatible. I have used Magix and a couple of free programs but got to Cakewalk and have stayed with it for many years. The added bonus is that - as far as these things go! - I know my way around the system. It is also becoming expensive to drop a system where you have paid for maintenance/updates etc.

Absolutely! Efficiency is the name of the game.
