Drew Bancroft is an accomplished songwriter and a gripping performer. Like many of his peers, Drew's music defies easy categorization. His solo persona is often anchored with heavy acoustic and rich vocal melodies, though his bounding alternative pop sensibility is rarely far away.

"The band delivers a unique stripped-down power pop sound smack in the college rock style, with hooks... Highly recommended, indeed." - Gajoob.com.

"I found myself enthralled with this album in the way that it took you from melodic acoustic to a somewhat hard grooves. Uncompromising lyrics, total heartfelt phrases and good essence throughout. Definite keeper and should be heard!" - Grass Roots Entertainment.

Bio

Drew Bancroft is an accomplished songwriter and a gripping performer. Like many of his peers, Drew's music defies easy categorization. His solo persona is often anchored with heavy acoustic and rich vocal melodies, though his bounding alternative pop sensibility is rarely far away.

Drew's music has played from radios across the United States, Canada and Europe. Four of his independent releases have appeared on CMJ's charts. Notably, his writing and performance on the independent release Foolisher than Pride by Rosemary Caine was instrumental in its 1997 CMJ Top 200 breakthrough (peaking at #163).
Since the early 1990's, Drew has been performing both solo and with a selection of bands, primarily Boston-based Rosemary Caine and New York-based Laura's Invention.

Throughout the 1990s, Drew toured the United States, Canada and Europe. In addition, he was a regular at a number of clubs in the northeast including New York's Bitter End and Mercury Lounge, Boston's Middle East and TT the Bear's Place, and Philly's JC Dobbs.

Now a father of three, a former wine merchant, and a digital designer and project manager, Drew continues to write and perform regularly from his home studio in the wilds of Dutchess County in New York.
