Born to Jerome Sr. and Brenda Singleton in the 9th Ward of Down Town New Orleans, Louisiana, on 27th day of August, 1975 @ Charity Hospital. Jerome 2nd' A. K. A. Chedder, grew up in the ghetto streets, suffering in the poverty and SIN. At the age of fourteen, Jerome was known as the neighborhood barber and that cosmetology gift earned him the title "The Big Cheese" of New Orleans. “The Big Cheese” was later converted to the name we now prefer, Chedder or Dr. Chedder. The Dr. in Dr. Chedder is known as the signature of GOD'S calling & HEALIN' on Chedder's life. Chedder was raised in the projects/ urban areas of New Orleans where he mainly, silently, victimized people and also became the victim of many horiffic crimes.
