Do You See the Dark

Magic comes in many forms - energy, feelings, visuals, sounds. Enter Do You See the Dark. This NYC-
based rock trio explores melodic and rhythmical mazes creating music that engages their listeners' minds.
The players are: Cakes (vocals and bass), Cro (guitar) and Bino (drums). At the heart of their sound is a
dynamic mix of ambiance, metal driven art-rock, and melodic vocal lines that captivate and unify their diverse
audiences.

Cakes helped form Do You See The Dark starting a new chapter in her career as a performer. A classically
trained musician, turned ambient rock Goddess, she has been garnering musical accolades since her youth.
Cakes is endorsed by Epiphone Guitars, she has been featured on The Learning Channel, and she has toured
with such national acts as Static-X, Lo-Pro, Soil, and Dope.

Cro is a street guitarist who sets the stage with a massive guitar attack creating the dynamic sonic landscapes
of the band's music.

Bino, practically a drummer since infancy, was trained in percussion at Laguardia in Manhattan. He serves as
the band's mathematical mad scientist, creating calculated, intricate rhythms and textures.

In 2006, Do You See the Dark released a self-titled EP while working with acclaimed producer, Mark Zuppe
(Soho Studios), and Chris Gehringer (Sterling Sound Mastering). They recently completed a successful
Summer tour and will continue to support their disc regionally in the northeast. The band expects to release a
highly anticipated full-length in 2009.

Locally, Do You See the Dark serve their loyal fan-base playing at select venues in NYC's five boroughs and
Westchester (including: The Baruch Performing Arts Center, CBGB's Main Stage, The Mercury Lounge, Snitch,
Crash Mansion, The Annex, Ace Of Clubs, Club Midway, Fontana's, L'amours, and The Haunt). In the greater
northeast region, Do You See the Dark have rocked such venues as The Khyber and The Fire in Philadelphia,
PA, the Lucky Dog in Worcester, MA, Mardi Gras in Cranston, RI, Cousin Larry's in Danbury, CT, and the
Brighton Bar in Point Pleasant, NJ, as well as others. The band's acclaimed live show has them garnering
crowds as a main attraction and also as a supporting act for national touring artists such as The Corky Laing
Band and Warrior Soul.
