Bio

I'm a guitarist/composer from Southern California.

My education and professional experience consist of a bachelors from Cal State Fullerton, where I studied with David Grimes, performed in master classes for David Leisner, Neil Smith and Marcelo Equi.

I have authored a book for Centerstream Publishing (distributed by Hal Leonard) entitled Electric Blues Guitar. The edition covers the scales and techniques used by modern blues guitarists and features a play-along CD.

Works for classical guitar have been published by Mel Bay. Acheron appears in New Music For Classical Guitar and Masques appears in Mel Bay's Winner's Circle 1994 GFA Set Piece Competition. I have also been commissioned by the CSUF guitar ensemble for a piece entitled Los Jintes Enmasquerados ( The Masked Horsemen).

I am also a professional music engraver (hardcore Finale user) with work featured in books published by Mel Bay, Hal Leonard and National Music. Trained a production team for Coda's Vivace MIDI sequencing project with Notably Superior Music Services.
