From 2002-2005 Deborah J performed at several colleges and community events as an artist under indie label Groove City Records. She also became an anticipated performer as part of various HBCU programs. Following college, Deborah J was a part of The Peculiar People Band until September 2008. Now cultivating her musical gifts as a solo artist, Deborah J hopes to bring her witty and gregarious style to a larger audience.
