Debbie Rocks has been a singer / songwriter / performer ever since she was inspired by Chrissy Hynde of The Pretenders back in 1979. Her vocal quality can range anywhere from raw and emotional to sweet and sensitive - but always sincere in expression. Songwriting was originally a private way for her to express the deepest parts of her soul - until she discovered that other people were digging what she wrote, so she came out of hiding and shared it with the world. She sang and played rhythm guitar for various cover bands in the NYC area from 1990 - 1999 and then took time off to focus on originals. In 2003, she recorded "Charade" with her band "Basement Sundays" and has never looked back since. She is now approaching a new musical chapter in her life by launching a solo career - writing and producing a combination of pop, rock, acoustic and electronic dance music. There's no ONE genre that describes what she's into. No limits!!!
