Hailing from San Jose, California, rapper / hip-hop artist Elite has developed a unique sound that could be best described as rap-funk. Combining streetwise lyrics and delivery with elements of funk and hip-hopmusic, Elite brings a new twist to "old school", touching on such diverse inspirations as LL Cool J, Will Smith, Sly & The Family Stone, Curtis Mayfield, and Babyface among others. A prolific lyricist and writer, Elite is currently writing and recording the title track to the brand new Xbox game"Outlaw Volleyball - Spike or Die" by Simon & Schuster Interactive. Two of his tracks off of his first release wereincluded in the Bay Area compilation "The Jubal Discovery" by Jubal Records, 1997. With an eye towards crossover market interest, Elite is currently in production on a full-length CD titled "Platinum" and has just finished the first of several videos for the song "Color Blind".
