The Dallas Songwriters Association (DSA) is looking for YOUR songs! Enter their 2006 Song Contest today for a chance at some great prizes and valuable feedback. This amateur songwriting contest will be judged on lyrics, melody, and form. You may submit as many songs as you wish, in one or multiple submissions. This contest is open to all genres, but each song must be submitted to one of the following categories:
Those 24 songs will be forwarded onto the Final Judge, Broadjam Founder and CEO, Roy Elkins, who will choose the top three overall winners independent of category or level from the previous round of judging. The Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a Gibson/Epiphone Guitar, Broadjams Primo MoB membership which includes an artist website and one year of hosting ($199.95 value), and Broadjam's artist promotion software, METAJAM ($199.95 value). The Grand Prize Winner will also receive a six-month Platinum membership from SongU.com ($150 value) and a 1-year membership plus up to 10 pitches with Songlist.com ($420 value). The first runner up will receive METAJAM, which includes a one-year Broadjam Pro MoB membership ($199.95 value), a day of free recording and a night in Merlin's Cabin at River Sound Recording Studio on the Llano River in the Texas Hill Country, a six-month Platinum SongU.com membership and a six-month membership with up to 5 pitches from Songlist.com ($225 value). The second runner up will also receive METAJAM (including a one-year Pro MoB membership), a three-month Platinum SongU.com membership and a six-month Songlist.com membership. All winning songs will be included on a compilation CD to be distributed at the Awards Ceremony on October 7st, 2006 in Dallas, Texas. Grand Prize Winners and Category Winners will have a chance to perform at the Awards Ceremony.
