Broadjam Rough Mix Country Competition

Think you have a diamond in the rough? This is a contest for all of you country songwriters out that that have a great song but just don't have the time and resources to properly pitch it in Nashville. You provide the demo and we'll get those tracks to our judging panel who consist of award-winning songwriters, music publishers and song pluggers. The winner gets a songwriting session with a top country songwriter to put the finishing touches on the song, a publishing contract, a fully produced studio version of the song ready for shopping to major labels, as well as broadcast-ready for music licensing.

Our esteemed panel of judges:

Jonathan Stone - Jonathan has been Director of Creative Services for MCA Music, President of Windswept Music (where he published artists such as Pete Townsend, The Spice Girls, Kings of Leon, Beyonce, Alice Cooper, Corinne Bailey Rae, Snow Patrol, and Bruno Mars), and is currently in charge of Radar Music, finding, signing and developing new writing talent in all genres. Jonathan's father, Cliffie Stone, is in the Country Music Hall of Fame and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as an entertainer and executive.

David Elliott Johnson - A successful songwriter, drummer, and producer, his songs have landed him Top 10 hits around the globe. Most recently Blake Shelton's "Over" landing at #1 for two straight weeks on both the US and Canada Billboard charts.

Chris Keaton - A Nashville songplugger with numerous cuts including "Have You Seen Her, Have You Seen Him" (Reba/Brooks and Dunn #1), "Roundabout Way" (George Strait #1), Wrong Again (Martina McBride #1), and Every Time (Pam Tillis)...and in the last several years cuts by Trisha Yearwood ("Seven Year Ache"), George Strait ("Stars on the Water"), international artist Haydain Neale ("You Oughta Know", charted in fifteen countries) and a song on the soundtrack to Mel Gibson's film We Were Soldiers ("Some Mother's Son").
